Larry Joe Young

LARRY JOE YOUNG Larry Joe Young was born in Terrell, Texas on June 10, 1947 to Billy and Flora Clayton Young. Larry passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on September 4, 2008. Larry was raised in Kaufman and graduated from Kaufman High School in 1965. He was a co-owner of Cates Steel Products in Kaufman and retired in 1996. Larry was a member of the Kaufman National Guard and the First United Methodist Church of Kaufman. He was preceded in death by his parents and Larry is survived by his wife: Diane of Kaufman, son: Todd Edward Young of Kaufman, daughter: Tonya Lowder and her husband Jim of Canton, brother: Mark Young of Port Aransas, sister: Donna Smith of Kaufman, grandchildren: Harrison and Sarah Lowder, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Kaufman with Rev. David Carr officiating. Interment following in Kaufman Cemetery.
