Clinton Otheral Holland

CLINTON "ODIE" HOLLAND Clinton "Odie" Holland was born in Kemp, Texas on August 18, 1913 to Charlie and Annie McGuire Holland. Odie passed away in Kaufman, Texas on September 18, 2008. Odie was raised in Kemp and lived all his life in Kaufman County. For the past sixty years he lived in Kaufman where he was self-employed as a carpenter. Odie was a member of the Scurry Church of Christ. He married Billie Ruth Hendrixon on September 16, 1939 in Terrell. His wife preceded him in death on October 12, 2003. Odie is survived by his daughters: Peggy Miller of Terrell and Brenda Clark of Kaufman, brother: W. T. Holland of Kaufman, sister: Joan Hawkins of Hawkins, grandchildren: Chad Frideley, Clint Frideley, Sonny Miller and Andy Miller, great-grandchildren: Jaiden, Mackenzee, Logan and Dalton and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home with W. A. Martin and Danny Baker officiating. Interment following in College Mound Cemetery.
