Ronald Lee Eubanks was born in McKinney, Texas on December 11, 1946 to Boyd and LaVada Pruitt Eubanks. Ronald passed away on June 21, 2008 in a Dallas, Texas hospital. Ronald was raised in Altoga, Texas and graduated from McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas. He moved to Commerce, Texas where he attended East Texas State University. Ronald moved to Greenville, Texas where he worked as an accountant for seven years. Later, he moved to Rockwall where he coached Jr. High School football and taught and was the High School principal for the last five years in Rockwall. Ronald moved to Kaufman where he was the High School Principal and later was the Assistant Superintendent when he retired in 2002. Ronald graduated from East Texas University with his BBA in Accounting and then received his Masters in 1977. Ronald was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman and the Kaufman Lions Club. On June 14, 1968 Ronald married Penny Cunnyngham in Pike, Texas. Ronald is survived by his wife: Penny of Kaufman, son: Greg Eubanks and his wife Marci of Beaumont, Texas, daughter: Wendy Neal and her husband Bryan of Kaufman, grandchildren: Sandra, Eli and Emma Eubanks and C. R. and Vada Neal. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Kaufman with interment following in Wilson Chapel Cemetery. Family visitation will be at the First Baptist Church of Kaufman Monday, June 23, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman. Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be to the First Baptist Church or the Kaufman School District Scholarship fund.
