WESLEY KELLER TINSLEY Wesley Keller Tinsley was born in the Jiba Community on December 3, 1919 to John and Katy Miller Tinsley. Keller passed away in Kaufman on September 24, 2008. Keller was raised in the Jiba and Becker Communities and lived all his life in those communities. He graduated from high school in 1938. Keller managed the Kaufman Compress Company in Kaufman where he began working in 1953. Keller has been a farmer and rancher all his life. For many years he was a board member and sexton of the Wilson Chapel Cemetery. Keller was a member of the Becker Methodist Church. He married Edith Marie Grubbs on November 11, 1940 and she preceded him in death in 1979. Keller married Sybil Tidwell in 1980 and she preceded Keller in death in 1997. Keller is survived by his sons: Jimmie Cullen Tinsley of Greenville and Bob Tinsley of Kaufman, special friend: Juanita Tidwell of Kemp, brothers: Jimmie Tinsley of Mabank and Sydney Ray Tinsley of Palm Springs, California, sisters: Freda Wallace of Lewisville and Launa Patton of Fort Worth, grandchildren: Susan Griffin, Clayton Tinsley, Shawn Tinsley, Jason Tinsley and Mary Ellen Tinsley, Six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
