Bettye Jo Miller

BETTYE JO MILLER Bettye Jo Miller was born in the Jiba Community on March 28, 1922 to Albert and Lois Knowles. Bettye Jo passed away in a Dallas hospital on August 25, 2012. She moved to Dallas in 1948 and lived there the rest of her life. Bettye Jo was a secretary for James B. Bonham Elementary School in Dallas for nineteen years. She was a member of the Agape Methodist Church in Dallas. Bettye married Joe Bob Miller in Kaufman in 1943. Her husband Joe Bob preceded her in death in April of 1991 and a daughter Barbara Hobbs in 1992. Bettye is survived by her sons: Mark Miller of Garland, Joe Miller of Garland and Scott Miller and his wife Linda of Terrell, daughter: Sandy Penn and her husband Joe of Garland, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
