NORMAN HANSFORD JORDAN Norman Hansford Jordan was born in Ola, Texas on Sept. 28, 1924 to William and Rosetta Dodd Jordan. Norman passed away in Round Rock, Texas on August 2, 2013. He was raised in Ola and then entered the U. S. Navy and served in World War II. After the service Norman moved back to Ola. He attended Dallas Barber College and then became a barber in Kaufman for forty-eight years before retiring in 1996. Norman was a life member of the VFW Post 3905 in Kaufman and the First Baptist Church in Kaufman. He married Opal Brown in Tyler, Texas in 1990. A son James Norman Jordan preceded Norman in death. He is survived by his wife: Opal of Round Rock, son: Ricky Lynn Jordan, grandchildren: Kim Sanders, Blake Jordan and Jennifer, great-grandchildren: Jake Sanders and Reid Sanders.
