KENNETH RAY YORK Kenneth Ray York was born in Waxahachie, Texas on March 4, 1938. Kenneth passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on February 22, 2014. He was raised in Peeltown and lived in Kaufman County all of his life. Kenneth worked for Adams Construction in Kaufman for ten years and owned and operated York's Welding for thirty-five years. Kenneth was a member of Rosser First Baptist Church where he liked to be the song leader and play the guitar. Kenneth loved singing and painting. He was a great example for his grandchildren as a Christian. On, June 27, 1959 Kenneth married Effie Mae Clemmons in Rosser, Texas. Kenneth is survived by his wife: Effie of Scurry, son: Douglas Ray York and his wife Sheri of Hubbard, daughter: Holly Cousins and her husband Allen of Crandall, grandchildren: Ashley Moore, Grant Cousins and Lackyn York, great-grandchildren: Emma Grace Moore and Brady Allen Moore, aunt: Willie Mae Knott, uncle: Buddy Knott and many other relatives and friends.
