REBECA RAMIREZ Rebeca Ramirez of Kaufman passed away at her home on March 3, 2014. She was born in Palua Cohulia, Mexico on November 23, 1941 to Nieves Martinez and Maria Martinez. Rebeca was raised in Mexico where she was a nurse. She moved to El Paso and then moved to Las Cruces in 1968 and then to Peeltown in 1972 and later to Kaufman. Rebeca married Emeterio Ramirez Sr. in June of 1965 in Sabinas Coahulia, Mexico. Rebeca was a member of Templo Samaria in Kaufman. A daughter Valerie Robles-Marquez preceded her in death in 1988. Rebeca is survived by her sons: Emeterio Ramirez Jr. of Mesquite, Joal Ramirez of Glenn Heights and Samuel Ramirez of Dallas, daughters: Angie Sorenson of Mesquite and Gracie Davis of Mesquite, seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, brothers: Pedro Martinez of Greenville and Paco Martinez of Mexico, sister: Elida Fuentes of Kaufman.
