Margaret Fay Vaughan

MARGARET FAY VAUGHAN Margaret Fay Vaughan was born in Lawrence, Texas on July 17, 1934 to Bennie and Essie Mayfield Bardin. Margaret passed away in a Kaufman hospital on March 3, 2014. Margaret was raised in Kaufman and later moved to Dallas in 1955. On July 27, 1955 at the First Baptist Church of Forney, Margaret married Frederick Eldon Vaughan. Margaret and Frederick moved to Irving in 1963 where they lived for thirty-seven years. They moved back to Kaufman County in 2000. Margaret worked for Sears & Roebuck for fifteen years and retired from Abbott Labs in Irving. She was a member of the Ola Church of Christ. Margaret loved sewing and gardening. She is survived by her husband: Frederick Eldon Vaughan of Kaufman, son: Larry Eldon Vaughan of Irving, daughter: Janice Leigh Hicks of Greenville, sisters: Dorothy Daugherty of McKinney and Ruth Angell of Richardson and many nieces and nephews.
