Manuel Tijerina

MANUEL TIJERINA Manuel Tijerina was born in Terrell, Texas on September 20, 1958 to Alfonso and Patsy Garza Tijerina. Manuel passed away at his home in Scurry, Texas on March 20, 2014. Manuel was raised in Kaufman, Texas and lived there until he moved to Scurry in 1981. He worked for Alfonso Tijerina and Sons Construction in Kaufman. Manuel married Rebecca Ann Gross on January 24, 1981 in Peeltown, Texas. Manuel was a member of the Beautiful Acres Missionary Baptist Church. He loved gardening and Cowboy Football. He is survived by his wife: Becky of Scurry, son: Manuel Tijerina Jr. of Scurry, daughter: Crystal Tijerina-Maldonado of Heartland, nephew: Kenneth Gross of Scurry, brothers: Alfonso Tijerina Jr. of Ennis, Ness Tijerina of Scurry, Jessie Tijerina of Arlington and Eddie Tijerina of Kaufman, sisters: Victoria Walker of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Sylvia Burton of Cleburne and Patti Tijerina of Rosser, eleven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
