Elsie Jannettie Weeks

ELSIE JANETTIE "MAYFIELD" WEEKS Elsie Janettie "Mayfield " Weeks passed away at her home in Kaufman on August 16, 2014. Jannettie was born in the Ola Community on February 28, 1926. She was raised in Ola and later moved to Kaufman where she lived most of her life. Janettie babysitted for several families in Kaufman and also was a sitter at the local hospital. She was a member of the First Assembly of Ola. Janettie was preceded in death by her first husband Troy Mayfield in 1971 and a son Troy Eugene Mayfield. She married her second husband Charles Lewis Weeks on February 6, 1984 in Kaufman. She is survived by her husband: Charles of Kaufman, son: Stevey Mayfield of Kaufman, grandson: Clinton Nathaniel Mayfield of Grand Prairie, brothers: H. H. Cox of Canton and Robert Alaska Cox of Blackjack and many other relatives and friends.
