BILLY FRANK DRIGGARS Billy Frank Driggars was born in Winnsboro, Texas on November 24, 1926 to Benjamin Franklin Driggars and Mary Frances McMullen. Billy passed away at his home in Tool, Texas on August 18, 2014. Billy was raised in Perryville and then joined the United States Army where he served in Japan and Korea. After, the service Billy moved to Seagoville, Texas and then moved to Dallas, Texas in 1949 where he was a bus driver and a carpenter. Later he moved to Tool, Texas. He was a Man of God, avid golfer, excellent skeet shooter and he excelled in all sports. Billy was known as "Hot Shot" in basketball. As a carpenter Billy could build anything, he was very artistic, a poet and a teacher of the bible. Billy was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Tool and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. Billy also loved animals and especially dogs. On April 12, 1949 at the Methodist Church in Crandall, Texas Billy married Betty Jane Good. She preceded Billy in death on December 19, 2001. Billy is survived by his daughters: Patti Wagner and her husband Doyle of Kaufman, Tammy Driggars of Combine and Pamela Driggars of Crandall, grandchildren: Kevin Gray, Holly Herin and Kyle Wagner, great-grandchildren: Jessica, Berkley and Luke, sisters: Emmer, Joe, Joyce and Lois and many other relatives and friends.
