Leon Victor Rossow

LEON VICTOR ROSSOW Leon Victor Rossow was Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on April 4, 1936 and passed away at his home in Scurry, Texas on November 20, 2014. Leon was raised in Sioux Falls and then joined the U. S. Army when he was seventeen. Leon retired from the U. S. Army in 1976 and moved to Mesquite, Texas. Leon then started working for the Mesquite Independent School District and retired from there in 1997. In 1977 Leon moved to Scurry, Texas where he was a member of the Warsaw Baptist Full Gospel Church. Leon married Lue Miller in Fort Bliss, Texas on February 27, 1970. Lue preceded Leon in death on July 4, 2011. Leon is survived by his daughter: Mistie McCool of Scurry, sons: Glen Rossow of Scurry and Mike Rossow of Sioux Falls, SD, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
