Jerry Wayne Marek

JERRY WAYNE MAREK Jerry Wayne Marek of Kaufman passed away in Ennis, Texas on November 28, 2014. Jerry was born in Taylor, Texas to Robert and Mary Hubnak Marek. Jerry was raised in Taylor and later moved to Kaufman. Jerry served during World War II in the U. S. Army. He worked all his life for the Texas Department of Transportation in Kaufman as a surveyor. Jerry retired from the highway department in 1978. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kaufman. On February 16, 1948 Jerry married Rose Ann Pechal at the First Baptist Church in Kaufman. Jerry is survived by his wife: Rose Ann Marek of Kaufman and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
