Mittie Jo Stewart

Stewart, Mittie Jo Mittie Jo Stewart was born to Lesley Lee Garrett and Lottie Jewel Nixon in Haslett, Texas on July 27, 1934. Mittie went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2014 in Kaufman, Texas. Mittie was a strong and caring woman that loved her family and her church. She was a faithful Christian that loved quilting and crafts as well as gardening. Mittie had a love for everything that touched her in life especially her loving husband and family. Mittie has been a long-time member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Scurry. Mittie is survived by her husband Robert Stewart of Scurry, Texas. Sons; Michael Stewart and wife Rhonda of Kaufman, Texas, Steven Stewart and wife Lisa of Kaufman, Texas, David Stewart and wife Vickie of Scurry, Texas. Daughter; Mary Beth Rand of Kaufman, Texas. Brother; Tommy Garrett and wife Sue of Fruitvale, Texas. Sister; Catherine Kridler of Dallas, Texas. Mittie has 16 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
