Ronald Edward Turner

Ronald E. Turner Ronald E. Turner was born on September 8, 1948 to Edward and Jimmie Mae Turner in Kaufman, Texas. Ronald went home to his Lord on January 20, 2015 at his home in Kaufman. Ronald was known as a family man. He was a devout Christian teaching Bible study for over 20 years at the Church of Christ. Ronald also served as a Deacon and drove the Joy Bus. He was the type of man that made himself available to help others. He loved the outdoors and deer hunting most of all. Ronald spent 42 years with what is now Oncor Electric as a supervisor until his retirement. He married Julie Lewis on September 7, 1967 in Forney, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Julie Turner of Kaufman. Daughters; Melissa Jones and husband Van of Lively, Jenny Miles and husband David of Kaufman. Grandchildren; Taylor Turner, Weston Jones, Colby Jones, Breanna Fletcher. Great- Grandchild Karsynn. The family has asked in lieu of flowers donations be made to one of two charities. Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or The Boles Children's Home & Medina Children's Home in Quinlan, Texas.
