Luchin Markies Daugherty

LUCHIN MARKIES DAUGHERTY Luchin Markies Daugherty was born in Kaufman, Texas on May 31, 1920 to Thomas Jefferson Daugherty and Josephine Smith. Luchin passed away March 17, 2015 at the Christian Care Center in Mesquite, Texas. Luchin was raised in Kaufman and served in the Army for four years during World War II. After the war Luchin moved to Dallas and worked for East Texas Motor Freight for thirty-five years retiring in 1983. He moved back to Kaufman in 1989 then to McKinney, Texas in 2003. Luchin attended the Kaufman Church of Christ and the Ola Church of Christ and he loved hunting. On January 19, 1946 Luchin married Dorothy Mae Bardin in Kaufman, Texas. Luchin is survived by his wife: Dorothy of McKinney, Texas, daughter: Glinda Digiacinto and her husband Bruce of McKinney, Texas, grandson: Darren Digiacinto and his wife Corey of Spokane, Washington, sister: Wretha of Richland Hills, Texas and many other friends and relatives.
