MARIE WALKER Marie Walker passed away in Athens, Texas on July 13, 2015. Marie was born in Brownsboro, Texas on January 21, 1924 to William Isget and Victoria Harris. Marie was raised in East Texas on a farm. She lived in Waxahachie, Texas for three years before moving to Dallas, Texas where she lived until her husband retired in the mid eighties and then they moved to Log Cabin, Texas. Marie worked several years for an ammunition plant in Fort Worth, Texas making bombs during World War II. She was a member of the Payne Springs Baptist Church. On March 31, 1942 Marie married Henry Ford Walker in Waxahachie. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry on June 14, 1991. Marie is survived by her son: Charles Walker and his wife Phyllis of Kemp, daughters: Barbara Pistole of Bristol, Diana Mitchell and her husband Rick of Seagoville, Shirley Stokes and her husband Tommy of Athens and Patricia Walker of Log Cabin, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
