VIOLET MARGARET ELZNER Violet Margaret Elzner was born in Stephenville, Texas on March 22, 1927 to John Mansco and Fannie Mae Oxford. Violet passed away in Kaufman County, Texas on July 31, 2015. She was raised mostly in Marfa, Texas where she attended high school. Violet lived a short time in Irving, Texas before moving to Kaufman in 1957. She owned and operated Bownds Electric and Antiques in Kaufman. She loved antiquing and making jewelry. Violet was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman. She married Ed Elzner in Kaufman, Texas and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1998. Violet is survived by her sons: James Bownds and his wife Gwen of Scurry and David Bownds and his wife Jessie of Flower Mound, daughter: Reba Parker and her husband Ronald of Scurry, stepsons: Larry Elzner of Kaufman, Daniel Elzner of Longview and John Ed Elzner of Kaufman, stepdaughter: Linda Cruz of Kaufman, sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
