Clara Bess Dodd

CLARA BESS DODD Clara Bess Dodd was born in Terrell, Texas on November 1, 1929 to Everett Brockway and Irene Phillips. Clara passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on August 8, 2015. Clara was raised in Terrell and lived all her life in the Terrell and Kaufman area. She worked for J. C. Penny in Terrell for twenty-one years and for Bealls Department Store in Kaufman for nineteen years. Clara was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Kaufman. She married Edd Dodd on May 1, 1948 and he preceded her in death on December 1, 1999. Clara is survived by her daughters: Barbara Jean Warner of Sierra Madre, California, Kathy Dodd of Kaufman and Jan Galvan and her husband Abel of Forney, grandchild: Devon Murphey and Robert of Forney, great-grandchildren: Haley and Hunter Murphey and many other relatives and friends.
