TOMMY HAMILTON JOHNSTON Thomas Hamilton Johnston was born in Jacksonville, Texas on June 14, 1943 to Osvil Fender Johnston and Natalie Gilmore. Tommy passed away at his home in Kaufman, Texas on September 4, 2015. Tommy was raised in Trinidad, Texas and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1961. He moved to Granbury in 1997 and then moved to Kaufman in 2013. Tommy owned and operated Rawhide Electric for over twelve years, before Tommy retired in 2014. Tommy was a member of the Waples Methodist church in Granbury. Tommy loved to fish and do woodworking. On July 15, 1989 Tommy married Marilu McCarver in Duncanville, Texas. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by his wife: Marilu of Kaufman, sons: Dustin Johnston and his wife Tiffany of Denver, Colorado and Ray Rawlinson and his wife Samantha of Sunnyvale, daughters: Alicia Butler and her husband Jody of Arlington, Becky Ober and her husband Paul of Arlington and Pam Hassel and her husband Craig of Forney, grandchildren: Brittney Butler, Travis Butler, Madison Rawlinson, Morgan Rowlinson, Haley Ober, Andrew Hassel and Blake Hassel and many other relatives and friends.
