Geraldine Froggatt

Geraldine "Jerri" Oglesby Froggatt was born October, 9, 1931 in Garfield, Georgia to Elmer Oglesby and Doris Newton. Jerri passed away October 13, 2015 in Kaufman, TX. Jerri was raised in Portal, Georgia where she graduated in the class of 1948-1949 from Portal High School and attended college at Georgia Teachers College in Statesboro. On September 5, 1957 she married Benjamin Franklin Froggatt who retired as an Air Force technical sergeant after serving in World War II, Korea and Vietnam and also retired from Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX. They made their home in Frisco, TX, and retired to Palm Bay, Florida. They loved to square dance with "Jeans & Queens" in Plano, TX, and "The Barn Dancers" in Melbourne, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Ben, her sister Glynda Oglesby Gister, New Haven, CT, her brother William Alfred "Sam" Oglesby, of Statesboro, GA, and her son-in-law James Leland Holcomb of Kaufman, TX. She is survived by her brother Joel Oglesby and wife his Juanita of Portal, GA, her daughter Wanda Froggatt Holcomb of Kaufman, TX, her son David Froggatt and his wife Errin of Plano, TX, her grandsons Justin and Alex Holcomb of Kaufman, TX, her granddaughter Emily Froggatt of Plano, TX, and many other relatives and friends. Much appreciation to her daughter Wanda and caregivers at Kaufman Health Care Center for their love and care.
