Donald G. Helpenstell

Donald Glen Helpenstell was born on November 20, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to John Doyle and Dolores Jeanette Helpenstell. Don passed away in a Dallas hospital on February 16, 2016. Don married April Melody on January 23, 1993 at the Old City Park in Dallas, Texas. Donald was a local business owner in Kaufman and through this became a friend and mentor to many. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle to his family. He was known by his family and friends as somewhat of a jokester, always laughing and making the best out of every situation. Donald is survived by his wife, April Helpenstell of Kaufman; Daughters: Rachael Ann Helpenstell and fiancé Miguel Counts, and Cara Isabella Helpenstell of Kaufman; mother, Jeanette Dolores Helpenstell of Mesquite, Brothers: Anthony Ray from Adamsburg, Pennsylvania, John Chris and wife Gina from Kaufman, and Erik Viktor from Round Rock, Sister: Andrea Hemby from Quinlan; and many other family members and friends.
