Dwain Thomas Cook, Jr.

October 3, 1982 — June 16, 2016

Dwain Thomas Cook, Jr. passed away on June 16, 2016. He was born to Dwain Thomas Sr. and Judith Marie Cook on October 3, 1982 in Dallas, TX. Dwain married Jenna Kazmierczak on August 6, 2011 in Whiting, IN. He was a fisherman and would love to go to the lake. He, also, had a passion for football and coaching. He was a part of the Kaufman Youth Football Association and coached the midget Kaufman Lions team. The most important part of Dwain’s life was being a great father to his three children Alyssa, A.J. and Lucas. Uncle "D" would treat his niece and nephews as if they were his own. He wouldn’t go anywhere without his children. Dwain loved to play games, teach them sports, and go fishing with them. He was a member of the American Legion here in Kaufman and just became a Legionnaire officer recently. Those left to cherish his memory are: his parents, his wife and their three children; siblings: Christopher Cook, Sarah Cook and Samantha Cook; nephews Julian, Aiden, Jayden, and Emette; niece Hazel and grandmothers Mary McGeever and Roberta Cook who will miss him dearly. Dwain was a beloved husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend.
