JACKIE LEE BLANTON

Jackie Lee Blanton passed away in Garland, Texas on September 1, 2016. Jackie was born in New Braunfels, Texas on August 8, 1932 to Ben Henry Sitz and Clara Gertrude Bechtold. Jackie was raised in the Rosebud, Texas area and later moved to Dallas and worked for Royal Typewriter then moved to Kansas City and then moved back to Dallas where she met Charles Durwood Blanton. They married May 30, 1959 in Rosebud, Texas. After, they married Jackie moved to Garland and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Garland. Her hobbies were gardening, sewing and cooking.; Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Charles on February 8, 2015. She is survived by her son: Randy Blanton and his wife Sherie of Rowlett, Texas, daughter: Kim Kay and her husband John of Leonard, Texas, grandchildren: Jennifer Perez, Chris Blanton, Brooke Kay, Jacob Kay and Zachary Kay, five grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
