Leida Jeannette Couvillion

Leida Jeannette Couvillion, 74, passed away in Kaufman on September 12, 2016. Jeannette was born on September 23, 1941 to Herman and Alice Mayer in Dallas, TX.  She retired from Sears as an Accountant after 42 years and continued to work at First Monday, in Canton.  She loved and took care of all her family and friends.  Jeannette enjoyed the sport of Rodeo. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Daphine Pacheco.  Those left to cherish her memory are:  husband Buster Couvillion, daughter Jayme Marcum and husband Steve; step-children Sara Couvillion, Gary Couvillion and Alfred Couvillion; nephews David Perkins and wife Lori, Danny Perkins and wife Trina and Donny Perkins and wife Barbara; niece Cheryll Perkins and husband Patrick; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.  Family will hold a service on Thursday, September 15, 2016, in the chapel of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home starting with a visitation at 11:00am and a Service at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Kaufman Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the UPRA Breakaway Roping Scholarship at PO Box 897 Wills Point, TX 75169.
