Betty Rose Stewart

Betty Rose Stewart, 92, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2016. She was born to Claude and Nellie Stigall on September 4, 1924 in Bedford, IN.  Born and raised in Bedford, she married Charles Norman Stewart on August 28, 1948 there. Betty then moved to Tuscon, AZ before moving to Garland, TX in 1964 and then to Kaufman in 1979.  Betty worked for General Motors for 13 years and then Texas Instruments for 4 years.  She spent time working in her flower garden and listening to country music.  She was a member of Victory Church in Scurry, TX. Those who have preceded her are her parents, her husband and son Frank Stewart. Those left to cherish her memory are: son Charles Jenkins and wife Margaret of Springfield, MO; daughters Carolyn Blevins and Faye Goldsmith and husband Jackie; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild who will miss her dearly.
