Sharon Sue Gaskey

Sharon Sue Gaskey, 73, of Scurry TX passed away at her home on December 24, 2016 surrounded by her family. Sue was born on October 12, 1943 to Leslie Lee and Alma Elliott in McCurtain, OK. She loved fishing, hunting and cooking.  Sue took trips to Oklahoma and Louisiana to play the slot machines. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Those who preceded her are: parents, husband John Arthur Gaskey Jr., son Johnny Ray Gaskey, daughter Sharon Kay and siblings: J.D. Elliott, Juanita (Pete) Mitchell, May Mayes, Junior Elliott and Ed Elliott.  Those left to cherish her memory are: daughters Tammy Sharp and fiancé Evan Tinney, Deanna Roberson and fiancé Karl Franks and Dianna Curtice and husband Timothy; brother Ray Elliott and wife Frieda, grandchildren Amanda Sharp, Brandi Sharp, Cayla Sharp, Shelby Roberson, Kaylee Roberson, Dylan Roberts and Devon Roberts; great grandchildren Kacie Sharp, Austin Monckton and Brantley Reynolds; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
