Prudie Fean Dean

Prudie Dean, 83, of Kaufman, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2017. Prudie was born to George and Katherine Mayfield on November 22, 1933 in Kaufman. Prudie was a creative person who loved sewing and making crafts. She was a great Mom, Grandma and sister. Those who preceded her in death are: her parents, husband Olen Dean and granddaughter Laura LeFlore Sims. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Debbie Slama and husband Ricki of Ennis, TX; brothers George Mayfield and wife Judy of Kaufman, TX and Rogene Mayfield of Kaufman, TX; great grandchildren Alexis Sims and Brianna Sims and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 23, 2017, at Morrow-Chapel Cemetery through the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home.
