Robert Arie, 72, beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on May 30, 2017. He entered this world on November 5, 1944 in Lindale, TX, born to Plemon and Emma Arie. Throughout Roberts life he enjoyed the outdoors fishing and hunting. He was known as the "catfish Man". He loved to fish. He spent 20 years as a truck driver in the trucking industry working for Conway Freight Ways. Robert married his loving wife Carolyn An Thorn in Lancaster, Texas on November 24, 1962. Robert is survived by his wife Carolyn of Tool, TX, Sons: Robert Lloyd Arie and wife Sheila of Sumrall, MS, Jessie Lee Arie of Kaufman, TX, Brothers: Plemon Arie of Lindale, TX, Freddie Leonard Arie of Kentucky, Jerry Arie of Balch Springs, TX, Grandchildren:5, Great Grandchildren: 5.
