Kenneth "Poochie" Gillispie

Kenneth Louis Gillispie, most knew him as “Ken” or “Poochie”, died on June 22, 2017 at the age of 60 years old. He was born on October 24, 1956 in Kaufman, TX.  He was survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharla Gillispie, he loved since the day he met her. He leaves behind daughter Kendra Rutter, husband Chaz Rutter, Son Kirk Gillispie, wife Delisa Gillispie, and daughter Kayla Gillispie. Grandchildren Emma Rutter, Kirk Jr. and Kolbie Gillispie, who he loved dearly. He is also survived by his father Louise Gillispie, brother Bruce Gillispie, a sister in law Paula Gillispie, many nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family members and friends. He had many close friends, that he considered family.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Anita Gillispie, his brother, Gary Gillispie and Father in law, Clarence Wilkerson. He was a lifelong resident of Crandall, TX where he ran the Crandall Print Shop and Ken Gillispie Septic Inc. He served on CISD board, Lions club, Kaufman County Show Board, and played a large part of the Crandall/Combine Community.  He loved his family and worked hard every day to make the best life for them.
