Alton Neil Dodson was born in Telico, Texas on March 3, 1935 to Hiram Walter Dodson and Mary Emma Fletcher. Alton passed away at his home in Telico on June 23, 2017 with his family by his side. Alton was raised in Telico and lived most of his life in Ennis, Texas . He lived in Kaufman, Texas for twenty-two years where he owned and operated Al's Garage on Dallas Street. His favorite hobbies were his grandchildren. On August 1, 1958 Alton married Nelda Lou McKenzie in Temple, Texas. Nelda preceded Alton in death and also his brothers Walter Dodson, Hiram Dodson Marshall, Floyd Dodson, Odell Dodson, Willie Dodson sisters Virginia Dees and Ruth Hart also preceded him in death. Alton is survived by his daughters: Debbie Lynn Dearick and her husband Robert of Ennis and Lisa Ann Weeks and her husband Mike of Scurry, sister Joyce Hart and husband James of Telico, grandchildren: Scott Stewart, Chris Stewart, Keisha Lindsey, Michael Dodson and Leslie Rendon, ten great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
