Barby Donna Black

Barby Donna Black was born on July 25, 1960 in Paris, Texas to Bobby and Dolores Black. Barby passed away after a short illness at her home in Irving, Texas on September 4, 2017. Barby was a member of the American Legion Post 453 at Bachman Lake, and was an officer serving as Treasurer for 10 years. Barby was known for her love for animals, collecting elephants, and trivia. She had a career as a court reporter. She is preceded in death by her Father Bobby Black, Brother Greg Black, Sister Laura Black. Those left to cherish Barby's memory include her: Mother Dolores Black; Step-Father Darwin DeBoard; Niece Tara Black; Nephew Bobby Bond; numerous extended family and special friends Cindy Conyers, Mary Bell, Mike Barnett, Edie and all her friends at the American Legion who will miss her dearly.
