Bert Howard

There’s a new star in the Heavens. Its light is fiercely bright I will see my Fathers brilliance when I see that star tonight.

Bert Allen Howard of Kaufman was born on December 28, 1936 in Tatum, Texas to James Thomas and Bessie Lee Howard. Bert passed away at his home on September 22, 2017 after 80 wonderful years of life. Bert proudly served in the United States Navy.  He was a member of the VFW post 3905 Kaufman Tx as well as The American Legion .  Preceding Bert in death were his parents James Thomas and Bessie Lee Howard, Brothers: James Edgar Howard, Laurence Howard, Burness Howard and Bobby Howard. Sisters: Mary Sue Howard, Doris Howard. Bert is survived by his Daughters: Hope Lynn Otto of Plano, Texas, Tina Harrison and husband Neal of Kaufman, Texas, Pam Pate and husband  Ed of Kaufman, Texas, Brother: Jimmy Howard and wife Elaine of Kaufman, Texas,  Grandsons: Zach Otto of Dallas, Texas, Tom Harrison and wife Ashley of Kaufman, Texas, Granddaughters: Rachel Moreno and husband John of Carrollton, Texas, Rachel Capanelli and husband Dylan of Caddo Mills, Texas, Paige Smith and husband Dylan of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Granddaughters: Neelie Harrison of Kaufman, Texas, Brittany Bailey of Atlanta Georgia, Nicole Bailey of Atlanta, Georgia, Jessica Bailey of Atlanta, Georgia, Great-Granddaughters: Lauren Hope Moreno of Carrollton, Texas, Skylar Harrison of Kaufman, Texas, Berts Friend for Life: Esta Howard of Kaufman, Texas, and many numerous Nieces, Nephews, and a countless number of friends.
