Nancy Lee Catlin, 86, passed away in Terrell, TX on November 9, 2017. Nancy was born to Arthur and Mildred Stone in Dallas, TX on August 19, 1931. Nancy married Edward Earl Catlin on November 25, 1959 in Dallas, TX. She has lived in Dallas, Pine Mills, Gainesville and Paris. Nancy was a member of the National Honor Society. She went to the Mother Frances School of Vocational Nursing. Nancy received the Outstanding Religious Volunteer Award in 1992 for her missionary work. She served as Emeritus of the Gainesville State School Mission Service Corp. from 1986-2002, as a MSC Home Missionary - Spanish Mission in Nogales, AZ, Church supporter in Moses Lake, WA, Resort Ministries in Zapata, TX and Lake of Ozarks, MO, church starter in MO, Directors of Food and Crisis Center in IL, Chaplain Assistant in Gainesville State School, Director of Missions at Harvey St. Baptist Church, Apartment House and Vrs. Social Ministries at Southside Baptist Church and Intercessory Prayer Ministry at Temple Baptist Chruch in Gainesville, TX. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Edward Earl Catlin, sister-in-laws Ina Mae Wood and Velda Ailene Herzog and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who will miss her dearly.
