Donnie Marshall Hatcher, Sr.

Donnie Marshall Hatcher, Sr. of Scurry, TX went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2018 in Kaufman, TX. Donnie was born to Marshall Clarence and Letha Fayrene Hatcher on January 16, 1940 in Scurry, TX. Donnie was raised and lived all his life in Scurry. He worked as a master carpenter and spent time hunting and fishing. Donnie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Most of all Donnie loved his family. On June 25, 1960 in Scurry, TX he married Betty Moore and they spent a wonderful 57 years together. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David Earl Hatcher. Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife Betty; sons: Donnie Hatcher, Jr. and wife Karen of Scurry, Doyle Hatcher and wife Renie of Scurry, Stacy Hatcher and wife Vickie of Scurry and Daniel Hatcher and wife Shae of Scurry; grandchildren: Megan, Racheal, Marshall, Derian, Devin, Dawson, Zak and Katie; great grandchildren: Damien, Jaxon, Levi, Lucy and Trista; brother Billy Hatcher and sister Marsha Tuggle and numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
