Mary Ruth Gorman, 85, passed away on April 8, 2018 in Nacogdoches, TX. She was born to Johnie and Odette Humphrey on August 3, 1932 in Nacogdoches County. Mary graduated from Scurry-Rosser High School as Valedictorian of her class in 1949. She married her husband, Wayne Gorman in Kaufman on August 29, 1952. They lived in Ennis, TX for 35 years while owning Gorman Dry Cleaning services. They moved to Kaufman and lived there about 15 years. Mary spent time cooking and sewing. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kaufman, TX. Mary was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great - Grandmother who loved her family very much. Mary was preceded in death by her Husband Wayne. Those left to cherish her memory are sons: Max Gorman and wife Edna of Bellevue, TX and Cary Gorman and wife Jennifer of Van Alstyne, TX; daughter Kristen Jasper and husband John of Nacogdoches, TX; grandchildren: Jill Coss and husband Grant, Molly Cowell and husband Trevor, Chelsea Gorman, Chase Jasper and wife Sabrina and Mary Parker and husband Charlie; and great grandchildren Tucker Coss and Hallie Coss who will miss her dearly.
