James Earl Wade

James Earl Wade of Combine, Texas, passed away at his home on September 15, 2018. James was born on December 14, 1938 in Seagoville, Tx. James married Frances Nan Caves on June 21,1959 in Seagoville, Tx. James was a dedicated and loving father and husband. James always had a keen sense for business. From purchasing and running a feed store as a young man in high school, to being Founder and Co-Owner of Duke-Wade & Associates Inc., James dedicated 40+ years in the construction industry. He was a former chairman of the Multi-Family Builders Council. James shared a passion of horses with his wife Frances & they quickly became a joint partnership of breeding, raising and training race horses. He was a life long member of both the American Quarter Horse Association and The Jockey Club. James and Frances’ most notable wins were The Speed Horse Futurity and The American Airlines Juvenile. James, an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and hunting for coon, deer, pheasant, dove and ducks. James is survived by sons, David R. "Skip" Wade and wife Jill, and Marty Wade; daughter Jamie Wade Busby and husband Brandon; grandchildren Kevin Wade, Eric Wade, Tyler Thompson, Cheyenne Busby, Dakota Busby, Aubrey Bieg and Alyson Bieg; great grandchildren Sophia, Buck and Aubren; sister Darlaine Wade Bennett; brothers, Larry Wade, Kenneth Wade and Ricky Wade; many nieces,nephews & cousins. James was preceded in death by wife Frances Wade; mother, Susie Adell Wade and father David Earl Wade.

Memorial services are to be held Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 in Crandall, Tx. at Central Baptist Church at 2pm. Services are under Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman, Tx. In lieu of flowers, you may donate In Memory of James and Frances Wade to the American Cancer Society @ www.cancer.org
