Marcus Glen Hamilton

Marcus Glen Hamilton, 75, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2018.  Marcus was born on July 18, 1943 to Wilburn and Jo Shelby Hamilton in Dallas, TX. He was in the Army as a private 1st class from 1961-1968. Marcus moved to Kaufman in 1976 when he married his wife Billie Hamilton on May 10, 1976.  Billie and Marcus spent a wonderful, love filled 42 years together.  He would spend his time fishing, going to the casinos and watching Young and the Restless with Billie.  They wouldn't even answer their phones if you tried to call during their show.  Marcus was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Those who preceded him are his parents and siblings: John Hamilton, Jimmy Hamilton, Dale Hamilton, Sam Hamilton, Peggy Spivey, Clodus Hamilton and Joe Hamilton.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; children: Traci Sanders of Kaufman, TX, Shannon Hairston of Terrell, TX and Katy Hamilton of Arlington, TX; brother Arthur Hamilton of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Ashley Cardenas, Cody Cardenas and Will Sanders; great grandchildren: Bella Hernandez, Noah Hernandez, Andy Cardenas and Matthew Cardenas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
