James McCool Jr., 50 of Scurry, Texas passed away at his home on October 24, 2018. James was born in Dallas, Texas on December 1, 1967 to James and Gail McCool. James is preceded in death by his wife Penny McCool. He has always been involved in ranching throughout his life even while working for 20 years at Master Halco Fence Co. He has also been employed by W&S Finishing along with the West Ranch and the Jones Angus Ranch both of Scurry, Texas. James had a love for dirt track racing and ranching but no love greater than the love he had for his family, especially the Grand Babies. He was very much a family man always providing for his family. James is survived by his Son: James Ray McCool and fiancee' Holly Garner, Robert McCool and wife Melissa, Bobby McCool and wife Vanessa, Daughter: Penny McCool Robertson and husband Lasalle Robertson, Grandchildren: Skyler, Kenneth, Skylyn, Jewel, Angel, Kylie.
