Frederick Eldon Vaughan

Frederick Eldon Vaughan, 83, of Kaufman, TX passed away on November 25, 2018 in Greenville, TX. Fred was born on July 31, 1935 to Enos Eldon and Ora Mable Vaughan in Forney, TX. Fred married Margaret Fay Vaughan on July 27, 1955 and they were married 59 years till she passed away in 2014. He worked as a policeman in Dallas for several years and then as a truck driver. Fred has lived in Kaufman since 1990 and lived in Irving before then. He was a master mason for over 30 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Forney. He enjoyed his time reading, working with Leather, camping and leading his son's Scout Troop. He loved his wife and kids very much and he was a loved husband and father. His parents and sisters: Judy Townsend and Fern Brisco also preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory his son Larry Eldon Vaughan of Kaufman, daughter Janice Leigh Hicks and husband James of Greenville and Janice's step-sons Austin Hicks and Dylan Hicks, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
