Kathy Lee Murray, 71, of Scurry, TX passed away on January 3, 2019 at home. Kathy was born on November 30, 1947 in San Marcos, TX to Charles Thomas and Dorothy Elizabeth Kash. After being born in San Marcos she was raised in San Antonio and moved to Scurry after she retired from TxDot in 2013. During her time in San Antonio she took care of her mother for almost 15 years when her mother fell ill. She spent time watching the Spurs and the Cowboys but her most favorite time was the time she spent with her kids and grandkids. Her parents and a son Kevin Murray preceded her. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Kimberly Huff and husband Phillip of Scurry, TX; sister Karen Hansen in Hockley, TX; grandchildren: Jessica Bolton of Scurry, TX, Kylie Sprayberry and husband Colt of Tyler, TX, Courtney Huff of Scurry, TX and Kayla Huff of Plano, TX; great grandchildren Andrew Bolton, Marie Fowler, Camden Sprayberry and Collins Sprayberry; niece Michelle Bright and husband Sheldon of Jonestown, TX;  numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
