Adela T Luna

Adela was born in Rosebud, TX to Jose and Matilda Tijerina. She was one of eight children from humble beginnings, and a long-time resident of Dallas and Kaufman. At the age of 88, Adela passed away in Kemp, TX with family at her side. She was a strong, loyal, and loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and mother-in-law. Always a hard worker whether opening a tortilla factory with her husband, cooking in the kitchen, caring for grandchildren, growing roses and aloe vera plants, or gardening and selling fire wood. She never stopped working. We will miss her sweet and kind spirit. She will be in our hearts forever. Predeceased by her husband, Al Luna Jr., a granddaughter, Lauren Young, and 6 siblings. She is survived by one brother, Sammy Arias, and her children, Lydia Luna and her husband Robert Young, Elvia Cox and her husband Randall, Al Luna III and his wife Paris. Adela is also remembered by her 6 grandchildren, Kristin Rodriguez, Colette Reyes, Matthew Cox, Meredith Young, Austin Luna, and Breann Luna, and 5 great-grandchildren, Peyton Luna, Zoe Reyes, Gabriel Reyes, Lilah Reyes, and Cash Rodriguez.
