Chad Patrick Pate

It is with great sadness that the family of Chad Patrick Pate announces his passing, on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the age of 46 years. Chad was born on June 9, 1972 to Donald Dean Pate and Brenda Benson Pate in San Antonio, TX.  Chad grew-up in Kaufman where he graduated from Kaufman High School in 1990 and went on to receive an Associate in Business Management from Belford University.   Chad was Past Patron of Gun Barrel City #1114, Order of the Eastern Star, having served as Worthy Patron 2013-2014, 2014-2015, and 2017-2018.  Chad was currently installed as Sentinel.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Holton and Ollie Mae Benson of Kaufman, TX and William Marshall Sr. and Naomi Pate of Kaufman, TX. 

Those left to cherish his memory are parents, Donald Pate and Brenda Benson Pate; partner, John Perez and son Adam Perez; brother, Matthew Pate and wife Wendy Pate; sister, Melanie Bowers and husband Wilfred Bowers, all of Kaufman, TX.  He will lovingly be remember as Uncle Chad by his nephews and nieces, Marshall Pate, Holton Pate, Averi Pate, Wilfred Bowers Jr., Pate Benson Bowers and Ollie-Mae Bonnie Bowers. 

A Service of Celebration for Chad will be held on Thursday, February 21st at 10:00 a.m., at the Parker Ashworth Funeral Home, with Pastor Beth Kellner officiating.
